A collection of poems by Ahmad Shamloo, which is one of the most well-known Persian poets. Shamloo was born in Khorasan in the Northeast of Iran in the city of Eslamabad. He began to write at an early age and published his first volume of poetry, called Khutba, in 1976. He has also written prose and non-fiction.
In the 1980s, he moved to Paris to study literature. He has also lived in London, Rome, and New York. He is one of the founders and a member of the board of directors of the Writers' Association of Iran. He has also been a member of the board of directors of the Persian Institute of Art and Literature.
